As the holder of a medical certificate, you are obliged not to exercise the privileges associated with the certificate if you become aware of any medical condition that may reduce flight safety.
Furthermore, you are required to seek aeromedical advice from an aviation medical examiner or an aeromedical center without undue delay after undergoing surgical treatment, starting a new medication or increasing a dosage, hospital admission, confirmed pregnancy, depression, anxiety, psychological crises, or any injury or illness that may affect flight safety.
Our shared responsibility is to safeguard flight safety – and as aviation medical examiners, our goal is to help you do so in the best possible way within the applicable rules and procedures.
When presenting yourself for an aeromedical examination, you must complete and sign an application form providing information about your medical history.

In the event of a breach of the reporting/information obligation, the Civil Aviation Authority may consider sanctions such as revocation of the medical certificate, refusal of an application for a medical certificate, or the imposition of an administrative penalty.
