FLYLEGENE AT GARDERMOEN
Located in Gardermoen Medical Center (GMS) at Jessheim and in SAS Technical Base at Oslo Airport Gardermoen - aeromedical examinations and caring for the flying has become part of our everyday life since 1987.
Our aeromedical examinors are experienced doctors through years of practise as family physicians and general practitioners, work at the Aeromedical Institute and Aeromedical Center at Blindern, for the Aeromedical Section of the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority, for main civil operators in aviation and the Norwegian Air Force.
We welcome old and new customers!

Who are we?
After three years at Gardermoen, we made some adjustments to our team in 2025. From 1 June, Malin and Kari are the ones taking care of our clients and keeping our days running smoothly. Åse will continue as office manager and secretary, but considers herself retired and will be significantly reducing her workload after nearly 40 years of service.
Inge, Hans Olav and Brynjulv are all former GPs, now fully focused on aviation medicine. Both Hans Olav and Brynjulv also have military backgrounds. With his extensive experience, Brynjulv is the clinic’s aviation‑medical oracle.
In 2026, Olav Tobias Ødegaard will join the team. The youngest of us, but with an ideal and unusually broad mix of experience as a pilot, internal medicine specialist and anaesthesiologist. His availability here will depend on other duties, and more information — including his appointment schedule — will be published early 2026.
Our shared goal is to care for those who fly — within the framework of EASA regulations and with flight safety at the centre.
